The Whyte T-130 S 650b Mountain Bike 2018 brings the perfect balance of performance and value for money, improving on the multi-award winning 130mm travel trail platform to create a more versatile and capable ride than ever before. Equipped with the revolutionary SRAM GX Eagle 12-speed groupset, the T-130 S receives a massive 500% gear range, allowing Whyte to increase the chainring size without sacrificing lower gearing. Another key upgrade for the 2018 T130 S is the upgrade in front suspension, the all new RockShox Revelation RC has taken inspiration from the new Pike to create a trail fork with incredible levels of stiffness & balance in a light-weight package.
This incredibly playful Whyte mountain bike has been constructed around a 6061 T6 Aluminium Front Triangle frame with a Tapered Head Tube that adds strength and stability, working with the high spec RockShox suspension system to create a ride that punches well above its travel. The specification of the 2018 Whyte T-130 is what impresses us the most and with the RockShox Reverb Stealth dropper post included in the mix you can make on the fly-adjustments without having to hop off.
The 2018 Whyte T-130 S features an Intergrip; internal seat post clamp. Not only does this look neater, but with no split in the tube to allow for clamping, tolerances can be much tighter and water kept out of the frame for longer, no matter how British the conditions get!
