TREK DOMANE SL 5 DISC ROAD BIKE 2022

Fast, versatile and supremely comfortable, the Trek Domane SL 5 Disc Road Bike is the consummate all-rounder. The carbon frame has aerodynamically shaped tubes and hidden cables to reduce drag, yet there are hidden mudguard mounts too for all-weather riders. The very generous frame clearance allows the use of 38mm tyres for fantastic levels of grip and comfort whilst the front and rear IsoSpeed systems add huge amounts of compliance to isolate the rider from imperfect road surfaces. These concepts work together to make the Domane the perfect companion for long, arduous rides, helping stave off fatigue and increase speed.

The Shimano 105 gearing also points to the bike’s versatility, with the very wide-range 11-34t cassette offering ratios suitable for the very steepest hills as well as flat sections too. Hydraulic disc brakes work as well in the wet as they do in the dry, ensuring control and confidence at all times; ideal for all-day epics when the weather is uncertain.

32mm Bontrager R3 Hard-Case Lite tyres provide yet more comfort and low rolling resistance and are paired with Bontrager’s Paradigm SL wheelset for a tubeless-ready set-up that can be used every day of the year. Size-specific finishing kit and endurance orientated geometry mean that every rider can enjoy a comfortable, efficient and confidence-inspiring position on the bike and a compartment in the down tube secures a few tools neatly out of the way.

The bike can also be collected in person from our city centre store by prior arrangement. We have a stock of quality approved used road bikes, triathlon bikes and mountain bikes for sale.

As a ‘used’ bike, we are happy to offer a 3-month in-house warranty from the date of the sale against manufacturing defects (crash damage and general wear and tear not included).

We do endeavour to supply top quality pre-owned bikes and the photographs and description are fair representations of our bikes, our reviews are good, and we try to look after our customers, many of whom return for additional bikes. Whilst we hold proof of ownership and ID, our bikes may not be supplied with an owner’s manual and other little goodies (we may not receive them) that new bikes may be supplied with direct from manufacturers.
