The Whyte 905 defines the modern trail hardtail. A stripped back SCR frame and new RockShox Revelation forks, with Charger damper and short 37mm offset, combine with 2.8″ tyres to make this the best iteration yet.

Combining confidence-inspiring, trail-blazing performance with tough UK weather-proof construction, the award-winning Whyte 900 series hardtail platform is head and shoulders above its competition.

Increasing tyre clearance, whilst maintaining the ideal fork length for the 900-series’ progressive geometry was massive for performance, gaining exceptional grip and comfort through the 2.8″ tyres, without compromising on control. And for 2019 things have only gotten better thanks to the introduction of a 37mm offset fork. This Optimised Trail Offset geometry system increases the trail of the bike for improved steering stability, and also moves the mass of the fork and wheel closer to the steering axis for a more neutral steering feel.

WTB ST i35 35mm wide TCS rims combine with Maxxis 2.8″ high volume TR 3C tyres, creating an all-round more comfortable, grippy and fun ride. The 2019 Whyte 905 brings in ideas directly from the Whyte Enduro team, from the thicker V-Grips to the use of 170mm cranks to bring the rider 5mm closer to the ground without compromising pedal clearance.

The bike can also be collected in person from our HQ by prior arrangement. We have a stock of quality approved used road bikes, triathlon bikes and mountain bikes for sale.

As a ‘used’ bike, we are happy to offer a 3-month in-house warranty from the date of the sale against manufacturing defects (crash damage and general wear and tear not included).

We do endeavour to supply top quality pre-owned bikes and the photographs and description are fair representations of our bikes, our reviews are good, and we try to look after our customers, many of whom return for additional bikes. Whilst we hold proof of ownership and ID, our bikes may not be supplied with an owner’s manual and other little goodies (we may not receive them) that new bikes may be supplied with direct from manufacturers.
