Good condition throughout – but not suprisingly it does carry one or two cosmetic marks to paintwork from use over the years (although I’ve not seen it on the road for probably 4-5 years now!) Marks on the seat stays and downtube as per pics

Frame size is XL – De Rosa geometry is odd but if interested parties do a bit of a research online this is the frameset marked as 71cm (measurement from centre of BB to top of seat tube). Top tube is 585mm and head tube is 190mm. Saddle height in the pics is at 79cm (centre of BB to top of saddle) and there is scope to move it up further.
Best suit rider height 6’1″+
This bike was an expensive bit of kit clearly and with the frameset retailed at around £3.5K, there wouldn’t be much change from £6.5K for the full build so here’s a chance to secure a model for a significant discount. It will be even cheaper on our partner Webuycycle website.

De Rosa has done it again… First with the integrated seat mast of the Idol and now with the de Rosa King, but better yet they completely revamped the frame with a total overhaul. The New De Rosa King 3 is a monocoque carbon frameset which is super-light, stiff, and exceptionally agile. With many special colors to choose including an R&A Exclusive Pearl White and a total of 10 sizes it is very easy to find one that suits you.
The King 3 frame is built with single body technology in as many as 10 sizes. The frame features a monolithic structure entirely in T-700SC carbon fibre, the most resistant of all, which enables it to reach the much sought after “target weight” of 950 grams of lightness. However all this is allied to complete safety regulations because the composite material De Rosa uses boasts the highest standards of torsional rigidity, density and mechanical resistance.
The De Rosa King 3 geometry are new too, with saddle tube inclination designed to optimise pedalling with the current compact seals. With its technological soul, De Rosa King 3 combines an avante guard design, characterised by the “integral” seat pillar and the “muscular” sections of its segments, which house the cables inside. It takes on the role of absolute on-road protagonist, balancing shape and substance to produce the best blend of lightness, stiffness, agility, and aesthetic appeal.

As a ‘used’ bike, we are happy to offer a 3 month in-house warranty from the date of the sale against manufacturing defects (crash damage and general wear and tear not included).
