Cube Stereo 160 HPA SL 27.5 Mountain Bike 2017

The Cube Stereo 160 HPA SL Mountain Bike 2017 created waves when Cube introduced it, back in 2016. From the high quality HPA frame with 27.5in wheels and 160mm travel, to the hand-picked components including Fox suspension and the 2×11 XT transmission, it’s all designed to build into a total package that’s perfect for taking on any trail – guaranteed.

This HPA four pivot frame is a prime example of the current state-of-the-art in frame building. Triple butted 7005 High Performance Aluminium tubes, put through a hydroforming process, combine with a Boost148x12 rear axle and Trail Motion Rocker linkage to provide a rigid frame structure that’s still remarkably light. The Efficient Trail Control system guarantees the best possible suspension performance, regardless of frame size. And the widely admired lively steering and stable downhill performance is made possible by the Agile Trail Geometry (ATG).

The SL’s suspension is provided by a Fox 34 Float Performance fork and Float DPS shock – the new reference for reliable, enduro-proof suspension and surprisingly low weight. Maximum control and comfort is assured, even on the most difficult and demanding of trails. Shimano’s 2×11 XT transmission with 36x26T chainset gives the best possible versatility and seamless gear shifts. The Shimano XT disc brakes work with the Hans Dampf / Rock Razor tyre combination and CSW AM 2.7 wheels to deliver flawlessly powerful braking, whatever the trail or weather. Other standout features include the CUBE dropper post and the super-stiff Race Face 35mm cockpit components.

The bike can also be collected in person from our city centre store by prior arrangement. We have a stock of quality approved used road bikes, triathlon bikes and mountain bikes for sale.

As a ‘used’ bike, we are happy to offer a 3-month in-house warranty from the date of the sale against manufacturing defects (crash damage and general wear and tear not included).

We do endeavour to supply top quality pre-owned bikes and the photographs and description are fair representations of our bikes, our reviews are good, and we try to look after our customers, many of whom return for additional bikes. Whilst we hold proof of ownership and ID, our bikes may not be supplied with an owner’s manual and other little goodies (we may not receive them) that new bikes may be supplied with direct from manufacturers.
