The Dare VSRu bike will receive a pre-sale mechanical check from one of our mechanics. We look to sell premium PRE-OWNED stock, the vast majority of which are one owner bikes. Buyers must be aware that these are not however new bikes unless listed as such.

In the first stage of the VSR’s evolution, we used “u” for “ultra” to define the design’s incredible performance and style. Now we have upgraded our fastest bike with tire clearance up to 30mm, DARE Bikes exclusive AERO1v handlebars, a more aerodynamic fork, new integrated cable routing and we kept the aerodynamic frame shape. All that combined will take you on a sleek and balanced flight with the wind.

AERO1v

We designed a new one peice handlebar and stem that can be used on all our bikes. The AERO1v has fully integrated cables, an aerodynamic shape and it has a 6-degree stem angle. It’s also possible to integrate climbing shifters, how cool is that! It also comes with a mount that can be used to secure a computer.

Aero Shape design (AERO-S)

The VSRu inherited all our experience from designing DARE’s time trial bike, the TSRf. Our designers reworked the Kammtail + bullet-shaped tubes into shapes and measurements more suitable for road cycling. Calculations from wind tunnel testing helped determine what curves would best be able to accelerate wind movement across the bike.

IMCS

DARE’s bike frames are made of 100% carbon fiber. Using new latex inner mold technology, a frame’s inner walls are able to be completely smooth and carbon fiber can be tightly layered on, resulting in consistent frame rigidity and small tolerances.

The bike can also be collected in person from our HQ by prior arrangement. We have a stock of quality approved used road bikes, triathlon bikes and mountain bikes for sale.

As a ‘used’ bike, we are happy to offer a 3-month in-house warranty from the date of the sale against manufacturing defects (crash damage and general wear and tear not included).

We do endeavour to supply top quality pre-owned bikes and the photographs and description are fair representations of our bikes, our reviews are good, and we try to look after our customers, many of whom return for additional bikes. Whilst we hold proof of ownership and ID, our bikes may not be supplied with an owner’s manual and other little goodies (we may not receive them) that new bikes may be supplied with direct from manufacturers.
