52cm size to suit riders 5’7” to 5’10”. This is an Italian sized bike so please make sure you inspect geometries before purchase, this comes up more like a 54cm, Top Tube of 543mm.

De Rosa like to offer class and style with their bikes, the 2016 Idol 6870 covers both. Its Ultegra Di2 drivetrain and brake caliper setup give it drive and control, while the frame and fork give it the style and feel needed to conquer the roads ahead.

The Idol

The De Rosa Idol is reintroduced to the De Rosa range for 2016 and returns encompassing the many new trends in road bike design. The design, geometries and materials used are all optimised for the utilisation. The Idol also offers a frame and fork manufactured using Super High-Modulus carbon fibre and features full internal cable routing.

Super High-Modulus Carbon Fibre

Two types of Super High-Modulus carbon fibre are used in the manufacture, and both maintain a balance between structural rigidity, vibration absorption and weight. The frame is a blend of T1000 (70%) and T800 (30%) carbon, thereby guaranteeing structural rigidity, absorption capacity and lightness to a very high level. The result is a lightweight and comfortable, modern frame that features the unique style and flair that comes with owning a De Rosa.

The bike can also be collected in person from our HQ by prior arrangement. We have a stock of quality approved used road bikes, triathlon bikes and mountain bikes for sale.

As a ‘used’ bike, we are happy to offer a 3-month in-house warranty from the date of the sale against manufacturing defects (crash damage and general wear and tear not included).

We do endeavour to supply top quality pre-owned bikes and the photographs and description are fair representations of our bikes, our reviews are good, and we try to look after our customers, many of whom return for additional bikes. Whilst we hold proof of ownership and ID, our bikes may not be supplied with an owner’s manual and other little goodies (we may not receive them) that new bikes may be supplied with direct from manufacturers.
