Seamless disc-brake integration gives you added control regardless of road or weather conditions, and the innovative D-Fuse composite seatpost dampens road vibrations. Added tyre clearance (up to 32c) means you can now run larger volume tyres for a smoother ride quality.

      The Giant Contend SL Disc is designed with a super lightweight ALUXX SL aluminium frame and an Advanced-grade full composite fork to deliver a balanced blend of confident, comfortable rider positioning and nimble road handling and acceleration. The Contend SL Disc also benefits from several trickle down technologies from some of Giant’s higher end models such as; an OverDrive steerer tube for precision cornering capabilities, MegaDrive downtube for torsional frame stiffness, PowerCore bottom bracket area for pedalling efficiency, and internal cable routing for a clean look and performance.

The bike can also be collected in person from our city centre store by prior arrangement. We have a stock of quality approved used road bikes, triathlon bikes and mountain bikes for sale.

As a ‘used’ bike, we are happy to offer a 3 month in-house warranty from the date of the sale against manufacturing defects (crash damage and general wear and tear not included).

We do endeavour to supply top quality pre-owned bikes and the photographs and description are fair representations of our bikes, our reviews are good and we try to look after our customers, many of whom return for additional bikes. Whilst we hold proof of ownership and ID, our bikes may not be supplied with an owner’s manual  and other little goodies (we may not receive them) that new bikes may be supplied with direct from manufacturers.
