The Ribble Aero 883 and Aero 883 disc are full on aero road bikes and the only aero bike we have produced to date. When tested by BikesEtc magazine the Aero 883 won their Aero Bike Challenge group test. In so doing it proved to be the lightest on test, won their Gold Award and as they stated also “blew our minds”. It also received high praise from T3, BikeRadar and Cyclist magazine with Cyclist stating “Punchy, low, stiff, fast. Very fast. The Aero 883 straddles the line between a fill-on mountain goat stage race bike and an aero road weapon.” Aero bikes as their name suggests are intended to be as aerodynamically efficient as possible. They will therefore make prodigious use tubing profiles that offer the best watt saving performance throughout the framesets design. The Aero 883 is no exception, with the shape of each tube meticulously researched to ensure it offers the best watt saving aero advantage. The kamm tail profile of the seat tube and downtube allow the bike to cut effortlessly through the air and the aero features do not stop there. A seatpost clamping system that is unique to the Aero 883 allows the bike to retain its clean lines. Shrouds on the headtube help to direct airflow around the base of the forks and the seat tube has been sculpted to allow the rear wheel to be tucked right in behind the tube to reduce drag. Every effort is made to create the fastest aero road bike and the Aero 883 does not disappoint.

The bike can also be collected in person from our HQ by prior arrangement. We have a stock of quality approved used road bikes, triathlon bikes and mountain bikes for sale.

As a ‘used’ bike, we are happy to offer a 3-month in-house warranty from the date of the sale against manufacturing defects (crash damage and general wear and tear not included).

We do endeavour to supply top quality pre-owned bikes and the photographs and description are fair representations of our bikes, our reviews are good, and we try to look after our customers, many of whom return for additional bikes. Whilst we hold proof of ownership and ID, our bikes may not be supplied with an owner’s manual and other little goodies (we may not receive them) that new bikes may be supplied with direct from manufacturers.
