When the Santa Cruz Bronson was first introduced, it took the market by storm and redefined what people expected from a 150mm trail bike. This beauty of a bike was equally at home in the Trans-Provence as it was on The Ridge so updating and improving it was going to be a big deal..

Santa Cruz Bronson 2 Carbon Features

The most visible upgrade on the 2016 Santa Cruz Bronson is the completely new VPP® link arrangement; the lower link tucks neatly above the bottom bracket, fully-recessed and protected from impacts

The box-section upper link now mounts cleanly to the top-tube and enhances lateral stiffness as a result.

Shock rates have been refined in the process too, delivering greater small bump sensitivity and a more progressive mid-stroke

Geometry has also evolved subtly to meet demand from riders for a bike of this ilk; seat tube angle’s been steepened, placing the rider right above the cranks and perfectly in position to lay down the power

One-degree slacker 66 degree head tube angle combines with a 20-25mm longer top tube and shorter chainstay length to create an evermore rally-ready geometry than its predecessor

Santa Cruz Bronson 2 Carbon CC Frame

The CC-level carbon frame found on the 2016 Santa Cruz Bronson is every bit as stiff and strong as the C-level frame, but is lighter (about 280grams lighter) and stronger thanks to the more expensive carbon fiber. This material is used in key places through the Bronson frame allowing Santa Cruz to use less material overall, which is what shaves off more than half a pound from the frame.

The bike can also be collected in person from our city centre store by prior arrangement. We have a stock of quality approved used road bikes, triathlon bikes and mountain bikes for sale.

As a ‘used’ bike, we are happy to offer a 3-month in-house warranty from the date of the sale against manufacturing defects (crash damage and general wear and tear not included).

We do endeavour to supply top quality pre-owned bikes and the photographs and description are fair representations of our bikes, our reviews are good, and we try to look after our customers, many of whom return for additional bikes. Whilst we hold proof of ownership and ID, our bikes may not be supplied with an owner’s manual and other little goodies (we may not receive them) that new bikes may be supplied with direct from manufacturers.
