The Santa Cruz bike will receive a pre-sale mechanical check from one of our mechanics. We look to sell premium PRE-OWNED stock, the vast majority of which are one owner bikes. Buyers must be aware that these are not however new bikes unless listed as such.

Swooping downhill, powering through singletrack or bike-pack adventuring are all catered for by the Santa Cruz Chameleon Carbon C R 27.5+ Mountain Bike such is its broad spanning scope. This versatility has always been the standout feature of the Chameleon, but this latest incarnation volunteer’s performance upgrades via a new full carbon frame.

All of the positive characteristics of the previous version of the Chameleon have been combined with the new carbon frame to arrive at new-found performance heights. Greater responsiveness and lighter weight have granted increased cornering precision and jump accuracy before the combined Fox Rhythm 34 fork facilitates fatigue-reducing comfort and stability thanks to its levels of plush cushioning.

The wheelset, via its bombproof WTB ST i40 rims and smooth-rolling SRAM hubs, are ready for any hole, rock or root while its boost configuration increases trail accuracy no matter how technical. A 12-speed SRAM NX Eagle gearset yields exact changes across the wide-ranging cassette for a fluid pedal stroke regardless of topography. Driven forward by the efficient SRAM crankset and its partnering oversized DUB axle precise stopping is taken care of by a fully hydraulic brake set-up.

Forcing the pace along fire roads or leaning left and right down technical descents are both facilitated via the adjustable saddle height delivered by the Race Face Aeffect dropper post while directional changes are handled with aplomb by the venerable Race Face ride bar and stem configuration. A swappable drop out option then provides versatility to the build allowing the rider to choose between 27.5+ or 29er wheels and varying tyre widths.

The bike can also be collected in person from our HQ by prior arrangement. We have a stock of quality approved used road bikes, triathlon bikes and mountain bikes for sale.

As a ‘used’ bike, we are happy to offer a 3-month in-house warranty from the date of the sale against manufacturing defects (crash damage and general wear and tear not included).

We do endeavour to supply top quality pre-owned bikes and the photographs and description are fair representations of our bikes, our reviews are good, and we try to look after our customers, many of whom return for additional bikes. Whilst we hold proof of ownership and ID, our bikes may not be supplied with an owner’s manual and other little goodies (we may not receive them) that new bikes may be supplied with direct from manufacturers.
