• • • As its name suggests, the Specialized Roubaix takes its cue from the mother of all endurance races, Paris-Roubaix, a race that famously pummels its riders with cobbles over a day’s hard riding. Zertz vibration-damping rubber inserts in the carbon fork and seatstays are intended to isolate the rider from jarring road surfaces but not at the expense of feel. The FACT carbon frame retains a level of stiffness you’d expect from a thoroughbred race bike, and a wide down tube extends from the relatively short 145mm head tube to meet a BB30 bottom bracket which provides excellent transfer of power. Meanwhile, an asymmetric seat tube, beefed up on the non-drive side, counters any potential flexing forces when you’re putting watts to the ground.

The bike can also be collected in person from our city centre store by prior arrangement. We have a stock of quality approved uséd road bikes, triathlon bikes and mountain bikes for sale.

As a ‘used’ bike, we are happy to offer a 3 month in-house warranty from the date of the sale against manufacturing defects (crash damage and general wear and tear not included).

We do endeavour to supply top quality pre-owned bikes and the photographs and description are fair representations of our bikes, our reviews are good and we try to look after our customers, many of whom return for additional bikes. Whilst we hold proof of ownership and ID, our bikes may not be supplied with an owner’s manual  and other little goodies (we may not receive them) that new bikes may be supplied with direct from manufacturers.
